*We are beginning the planning of Shamrock Fest which will be held on Friday, March 15.   The students will choose the games, set-up and decorate their areas, and clean-up all on March 15.  We will need four pop-up shade structures to create booths for the games and candy for the prizes. If you have a shade structure that we can borrow for the day,  please let me know ASAP!  It really does add to the experience.  Also, we could use some adult help in the morning for set-up and in the afternoon for break down.  Please let me know if you can help us.  Thanks for all you do!  (This is our last Outdoor School fundraiser of the year!)

**Permission slips will be sent home this week for the Pi Day in McMinnville on March 14.

*Students will begin biographies this week.  They will be checking out books from our library on Thursday.  It might be helpful to your student if you talk with them about their choices.  (George Washington and Abraham Lincoln will be excluded from the lists of possibilities.  And, Obama and Trump may not be in our library yet, so these two will not be available.)  Be sure that they have a first and second choice.  The reading, note taking, and writing will all be done in class.  It is a big project but, also, a very worthwhile project.
